Some observations....No this is more like a rant.

While I was at Disneyland last night (it's sooooo pretty at Christmas time!!) I was reminded of a few things.
1. I really don't like being in large groups of people. It just realllly bugs me.
2. I don't really walk super fast or anything, but when I'm restricted by people walking slow, I want to walk fast. Does that make sense?
3. I HATE it when people stand in the middle of a main walk-way and try to decide if they want to wait 45 minutes to go on a ride...Move out of the freaking way!! There are 10,000 people wanting to walk right through here!! That reallllly bugs me.
4. If you're going to Disneyland you should be in a good mood. If you're fighting with your significant other, or you're just a jerk...please don't come to Disneyland, and if you do come to Disneyland, do not be mean to innocent fun loving people! (Yes, there is story behind this...I'll get to that in a minute.)
5. If you're an employee in a store, please do not practice your Cheerleading moves while I am in the store. (Yes, there is a story behind this too.)
6. It's really the company that you're in that makes or breaks any place that you go. ( I believe in this very firmly)
7. Thunder Mountain is more fun with your eyes closed. (It really is.)

So quick story about the meanest person to ever sit in a teacup. So there we were, having a good time at the "happiest place on earth"... Looking at the overly lit "it's a small world"...having a jolly little time, when we decide to venture through the heart of Fantasyland. As we pass the teacups we see a stationary teacup near the teacup ride. The purpose of this teacup is to sit in it and take pictures...it's a community teacup. You hop in and take a picture and you hop out. Nobody gets to sit in it all day...it's a photo opportunity. So just as we decide to take a picture this terribly, miserable, unhappy couple gets into the teacup. Now mind you, it looked like they were moving into the place, and weren't planning on getting up anytime soon. So, I took it upon myself to ask them if we could just hop in really quick to get a photo. I was literally being sooooo nice! I kinda bent down and smiled and did my best nice girl voice, ohhh they were soooo not having it. Let me just say that If looks could KILL!...i'da been a goner for sure!! This chick was a beast. Seriously. The look on her face was so mean!! I kinda knew going into it that it might not have been a positive situation, but was the meanness really necessary? There are a million other unhappy places to sit and be miserable. But a teacup? A teacup is fun...and you should be happy when you're sitting in one. I mean how often do you get to do that? So anyway, she kinda mutters "sure" and they begrudgingly get out of the teacup and let us in. By this time, I can feel her casting some sort of evil spell on us as she watches us try to take the picture...I'm getting upset that she is so rude and it's so dark that the my camera had to do this flashy thing to try and focus...I didn't give the picture enough time to focus because I thought she was going to go crazy on us. Yeah, so we didn't get the picture. Argh! We just got out of the teacup as to not disturb the unhappy couple anymore. I didn't even say thank you...I was too scared. I've never experienced such unhappiness at "the happiest place on earth".

As for the cheerleading while at work story. Suffice it to say...there were no girls practicing their moves...and let me tell you that these fellows were taking their cheering very seriously. I mean really, I came into a store the sells candles and other cute stuff, and you're getting your "cheer on" in the middle of the place? Yeah, it was pretty ridiculous.

Oh, and there was this one lady who referred to her grandson as the "spawn of satan."
Not totally sure if she was kidding or not.

It was still a total blast though. That's why number 6 (above) is very true.

God D--- America...

I have spent alot of time thinking about the crazy fools who go around proclaiming God's judgment on America...and how He has forsaken us and all that...I will be the first one to tell you that the United States has made some pretty stupid decisions, like letting illegals into the country, or giving away free food and health care to those who might not be deserving of my damn hard earned money that goes to feeding and caring for them... or the fact that Californias Supreme Court voted to overturn the VOTERS decision to ban gay marriage in California. Yes, the list is long...and yes, we have crap that happens here...9/11 where we lost 2752 innocent lives because of some chicken s--- terrorists (imagine the lives lost had those planes crashed into the towers a few hours later), Katrina where 1322 lives were lost because of the weather...(this storm caused the most property damage in the history of hurricanes) I get that it's very sad and that each of those lives meant something to someone -But God damning America through these acts? If He is daming us...then what do you call the following?

For just a minute my attention is drawn overseas...to places like Burma, Cyclone Nargis was a strong tropical cyclone that caused the deadliest natural disaster in the recorded history of Burma (also known as Myanmar).[3] The cyclone made landfall in the country on May 2, 2008, causing catastrophic destruction and at least 43,318 fatalities with a further 27,838 people still missing.[4][5] However, Labutta Township alone was reported to have 80,000 dead and some have estimated the death toll may be well over 100,000.[6] The official Red Cross estimate is between 68,833 and 127,990 people killed.[ and apparently another one is on the way.

Or, China

China says more than 50,000 people are feared dead from Monday's quake in Sichuan province alone. Soldiers and civilian volunteers Thursday continued to pull survivors from the debris, but time is running out to rescue an estimated 30,000 people buried beneath the rubble of collapsed buildings. As the official death toll for Sichuan and nearby provinces rises to nearly 20,000, Chinese state-run media Friday say officials worry that rotting corpses could spark disease outbreaks.
OR...

The 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake The earthquake triggered a series of devastating tsunamis killing more than 225,000 people in eleven countries, and inundating coastal communities with waves up to 100 feet. It was one of the deadliest natural disasters in history. Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand were hardest hit.

Yes, we have our violence and the fact that the government invented AIDS and rap music to kill all black people (WHAT?!?!)...but really God D--- America? Not hardly Rev. Wright...you're dead wrong.

I know i'm ranting...i don't really care if you agree with me or if this makes sense, but im just beyond listening to the crap that is out that and that is being spoon fed to stupid people at home who believe everything they see on tv instead of finding it out for themselves.

ACORN???! He IS nuts!!!

Before you get out there and vote...you'd better do your homework on this obama guy. Palling around with terrorists and working with these nutty folks at ACORN is just the tip of the iceberg. Do some research...dig deep before you advocate this smooth talking, "hope" flinging, inexperienced, shady fool for president.

If you want to do any research on ACORN you won't be able to find any information on CNN.com....just so you know.

Preconditions-Schmeconditions..

So would he or wouldn't he??

QUESTION: "[W]ould you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?"... OBAMA: "I would. And the reason is this, that the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them -- which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration - is ridiculous. And I think that it is a disgrace that we haven't spoken with them." (CNN/YouTube Democrat Presidential Candidate Debate, Charleston, SC, 7/23/07)

or...

QUESTION: In your first year as president, with president Ahmadinejad, without preconditions, is there anything you have heard today, in your discussions with Israeli leaders that has made you rethink that pledge? Or are you still standing by that?

OBAMA: Dan, I think you have to take a look at what the question was in South Carolina and how I responded.

The question is, would I meet with leaders without preconditions in pursuit...

QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE)

OBAMA: I understand. I understand.

QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE) ... in your first year as president.

OBAMA: But I think that what I said in response was that I would, at my time and choosing, be willing to meet with any leader if I thought it would promote the national security interests of the United States of America.

And, Dan, that continues to be my position. That if I think that I can get a deal that is going to advance our cause, then I would consider that opportunity.

But what I also said was that there is a difference between meeting without pre-conditions and meeting without preparation. You know, the specific context of your question let's say with respect to Iran, is a Bush administration policy, for example, that said, we will not involve ourselves in any diplomatic negotiations or even talks with the Iranians until they have made the decision to stand down on their nuclear weapons. Well, that presumably would be the topic of negotiations. And if we take that position, then it's not surprising that we might not make much progress on that front.

I Can Just Smell The Socialism, Can't You?

So today, Barack Obonehead said this: "It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too," Obama responded. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Have you ever heard of socialism? What is socialism you ask...Let me get you the definition...

SOCIALISM: [soh-shuh-liz-uhm] Noun
An "economic, social and political doctrine which expresses the struggle for the equal distribution of wealth by eliminating private property and the exploitative ruling class. In practice, such a distribution of wealth is achieved by social ownership of the means of production, exchange and diffusion.

Please tell me this is just a joke, and this moron isn't running for President, and that there aren't people stupid enough to vote for him!! Seriously, what in that comment above can I agree with? I work my ass off...I have 2 jobs...I get taxed all to hell and you're telling me that you want the people behind me to have a chance? SCREW YOU!! I worked damn hard for everything I have...and life hasn't always been easy, but I'll be damned if this guy is going to take more of my money so the people behind me have a chance too. Get out there and work, make the sacrifice and do something with your life. This idiot is the best friend of those with a ''victim'' mentality. So much for working hard and making a difference. I don't get it... I just don't get it.

Bonehead Biden

When I listen to Joe Biden speak it irritates me..because he says so many stupid things...and yet no one seems to care...I guess that's why they call him Biden the bumbler...Yet, when Sarah Palin answers a question about what a vice president does...it's no big deal. But when Biden answers the same question, and is TOTALLY wrong....no one flinches.

The media seems to have been covering for Biden for some time. While news stories still talk about Dan Quayle's spelling mistake 18 years later, there has been almost no news coverage of Biden's numerous wacky statements. What if Quayle had said something similar to Biden's recent statement that, "When the stock market crashed (in 1929), Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"

HMMM.....A neat trick given that Herbert Hoover was president in 1929 and no one was watching television.
(TV's have been commercially available since the late 1930s, the television set has become a common communications receiver in homes, businesses and institutions, particularly as a source of entertainment and news.)

Patriotism according to Biden...

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: “It’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.”

I'm sorry Mr. Biden... I have no idea what the heck you're talking about. This has got to be one of the most...if not THE most asinine thing that I've heard in a LONG time. How dare you infer that patriotism is somehow related to paying more taxes. The last time I checked I get AT LEAST $600 taken from my paycheck every other week. Like many other Americans our money gets used for only God knows what, and our measly tax returns are all we get back for giving thousands and thousands of dollars a year to the government!! If my contribution along with every other taxpayer in this country isn't enough, then I suggest that you and your cronies find a better solution...because giving more money means someone living high on the hog while other people suffer! This is so infuriating. I can't believe you want more people to pay more so we can get the nation out of a major crisis that was created by greed!!! Bail yourselves out. Tell the guys that stuffed their pockets with millions upon millions of dollars to give it back. You were willing to forgo the good of the country to get rich...and now look where we are! Don't blame the failing economy on the American people, blame it on the men who were willing to look the other way, and be bought off...RAISE THEIR TAXES. I like the majority of Americans are extremely patriotic and it has nothing to do with the amount of taxes I pay.
Senator Biden you're a mess.

Friendship...

"Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence; true friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation."

I really love this quote. It is so true. I think that we all want friendship to just develop so quickly but it really doesn't!.. you really have to go through stuff to know if a person is someone that you can really call friend (the real kind)-
the through thick and thin friend..
the you have seen me cry about lame stuff and intense stuff friend...
the i'm afraid of the dark will you come over and stay with me? friend....
the friend you'd leave with your bf or gf and not think twice about it...
the i'll be honest with you because you need to hear it friend...
the i'll sit in silence with you friend...
the i'll laugh with you until we feel like we're going to throw up friend...
the i'll pray for you friend...
the i can sing at the top of my lungs (and off key) and you don't care friend...
the i'm holding you accountable friend...
the you said it all with one look and no words friend...

I think that we all want that bond with someone so deeply. If you don't your probably not being completely honest. That's ok. Anyway, I have more than one friend like that and I'm so thankful for that. I can't even begin to explain how glad I am that I don't have other people in my life anymore because the friendships that I used to have were terrible! Yeah, i wasn't blameless but I got hurt because I never stood up for myself. Standing up for yourself feels weird. It feels like you might be hurting someones feelings if you say what you really feel or think. I can't even tell you how my life has changed since I stood up for myself. God has taken that place of hurt and pain and is turning it into something amazing...with new friends and family that I would have never known if I didn't stand up for what was right.

I don't really know where that came from but I guess it was on my mind.

So sick of Barack "We Belive In Change" Obama...

Honestly, I wish that people would educate themselves on politics...READ something...do a little research for yourself rather than just believing everything that they see on TV!! I am so tired of Barack Obama and his rally for change! What the hell are we changing? I don't understand. I've talked to so many people that like him and when I ask why...they don't know! They say he's so ''passionate'' and ''charismatic''...ok, I will give you that. But what is he passionate and charismatic about? Change? What change? Changing what? Taxing me more? Killing more babies? Welcoming Illegals? Changing what marriage really means? End racial profiling?? Really?

The way things are going, I'm going to be living in the back country somewhere with a bunch of dogs and guns to stave away all the liberal morons that are taking over.

Please don't even get me started on Hillary.

Opportunity

When an opportunity comes along that might be outside of our routine, it would be detrimental if we didn't examine it closely. For example, I have a very close friend that has a job offer from a new employer. She is really exicted about it, but is nervous about what her current boss will do when she tells him. It's sad to me that people have to be afraid about making decisions for themselves. I know that decisions that we make for ourselves always have the potential to catch others off guard, or make them sad, but, REMEMBER....our happiness should not be based on other people. As a side note, I think one of my biggest pet peeves is someone sharing something exciting/new only to have some else shoot it down. That just kills me. I don't know where the negativity/shooting downness comes from but it sure is ugly. I realize that sometimes it is hard to be happy for people especially if they are jerks, or something like that. But it should never be difficult for us to be happy for people that we say that we love and support.

My First Blogger Blog

I enjoy blogging. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's because I feel like I can type faster than I can write...or maybe it's because I don't get sick of typing as quickly as I get tired of writing. Either way... I'm officially a blogger. I'm kind of excited. Now people get to read my rants...Lucky them/you. :)
